The Game:
You are Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Swept into the turmoil of a civil war, you are forced to watch helplessly as invaders storm your village, slaughtering your friends and family. Miraculously escaping a cruel fate, you take up your sword in pursuit of justice. Avenge your parents' death and help drive out the oppressors!
The Story:
Set in the heart of Europe, Bohemia is renowned for its rich cultural heritage, silver reserves, and formidable castles. But after the beloved Emperor Charles IV's death, the kingdom has fallen into dark times—war, corruption, and discord tear this jewel of the Holy Roman Empire apart.
One of Charles' sons, Wenceslas, inherits the crown, but unlike his father, he is a weak-willed and indulgent ruler, lacking ambition. His half-brother, Sigismund, the Red Fox and King of Hungary, senses Wenceslas' vulnerability. Disguising his ambitions as an act of goodwill, Sigismund seizes the opportunity to kidnap his brother and leaves Bohemia without a king. With the throne empty, Sigismund is free to plunder Bohemia’s wealth and lay waste to the land.
In the midst of this chaos, you, Henry, a humble blacksmith’s son, see your peaceful life shattered when a band of mercenaries, under Sigismund’s orders, razes your village to the ground. But fate has a strange sense of humor, and you find yourself among the few survivors of this massacre.
Homeless, family-less, and with no future, you find refuge in the service of Lord Radzig Kobyla, who leads the resistance against the invaders. Your destiny thrusts you into the bloody conflict, throwing you into the heart of a raging civil war as you fight to secure the future of Bohemia.
